GUILD HALL UPDATE — 2026-04-21
We did it!!
Fully funded in (less than, actually?) 2 minutes.
Months of anticipation and waiting are finally over! All of you showing up at the exact same moment and pushing this thing across the line together has been such an amazing experience!
To every backer, every Guild member, every person who’s been watching, commenting, testing, and spreading the word over the last few months:
Thank you!!
This is what it looks like when a community actually shows up!
What Happens Next
We’re live, we’re funded, and now we build.
We've been seeing a lot of the same questions, so wanted to address some here:
When do I choose my PC Binder class?
You’ll choose your class during the pledge manager after the Kickstarter ends.
You’ll get a link to review your order, confirm details, and select things like class-specific binders.
How do I get "all" the Cards? What is the point of boosters?
The static decks contain the majority of available cards, it is the entire SRD and ~1200 unique items. The Extended Set (and the boosters) are just for fun, ~250 items that our own creation. They are designed to be broadly analogous to the other items in the main rule books that are not in the SRD. two more IMPORTANT POINTS:
The Extended Set are also mostly Common and Uncommon Rarity, so they aren't critical.
The Extended Set will be made available as Digital Cards so if you can't find the last few in the wild, you can order them as custom prints from the MuleBrew Card Creator.
Can you add Crafting Materials as their own add-on?
Yep! done!
I have free add-ons from a pre-launch promotion. Do I need to add them now?
No.
Do not add them to your pledge. They will be automatically added for you in the pledge manager.
Will there be multiple copies of common items (daggers, rations, etc.)?
Yes.
There are lots of duplicates, especially at the mundane level and for consumable magic items.
Will this be available after the Kickstarter?
Yes.
The plan is to transition into normal ecommerce after the campaign, so you’ll be able to pick up more later if your group expands or wants additional cards.
Can I add more later / increase my order?
Yes.
The pledge manager will allow you to:
Add more items
Upgrade your pledge
Adjust quantities
My Guild email and Kickstarter email are different. Is that a problem?
No.
During the pledge manager, you’ll be asked for your Guild email, and we’ll match everything there.
I have a VIP discount. How do I use it?
Log into your Guild account here and follow the guide:
Follow the project to be notified the second we launch
This is no longer a placeholder... it’s the real thing. Just... early!
The PackMule System delivers over 1,200 item cards, binders built for real play, and a complete physical inventory experience designed to make your gear feel like something you actually own at the table
If you notice that "Secret" badge, that's how Guild Members will be pledging during the campaign. Instructions will be sent out next week!
The Countdown Has Begun
We’ve added a live countdown timer to the Guild Hall! Tracking the exact seconds until the Kickstarter goes live (and pounding at our launch anxiety, but hey, it's worth it).
No more “soon.”
You can now see the moment the gates open.
Important: Rank Lock at Launch
As we approach launch, there’s one important system update:
Your Guild Rank will LOCK the moment the campaign goes live.
We’ve got something a little different (and important) to share today.
As we gear up for the launch on April 21st, we've asked for an honest, independent, non-sponsored review of the PackMule Ultimate Inventory System pre-release from Save vs Justin — and this is exactly the kind of feedback we’ve been waiting for.
Justin takes a look at the Solo Legend's Bundle (Levels 1-20) and gives us his thoughts!
An Honest Look from Save vs Justin
Justin’s channel focuses on practical, table-ready RPG content—especially around playing with kids, newer players, and making the game more engaging at the table.
He’s not coming at this as a sponsored creator or a hype piece. He’s coming at it as a GM, a player, and a gamer dad who cares about how tools actually function during real play; we did not sponsor his channel or this video beyond sending him the free pre-release set to review.
That’s what makes this one valuable.
(The link above is a timestamp link to the review, but if you're interested in finding out more about Justin's Item Card Journey, there's another couple of minutes of content!)
From Colored Index Cards… to This
There’s something else tied to this that’s worth showing.
Before any of this existed (before the Guild Hall, before the Card Creator, before production files and proofs) the first incarnation of this system looked like this:
These were literal colored index cards, cut up and written by hand.
Weapons scribbled in pen. Armor tracked with sharpie. Stacks of cards rubber-banded together and thrown in a box.
It worked... haha, but, uh, barely. How many of you have set-ups just like this, right now?
It was messy, slow, and every time something changed, it meant erasing, rewriting, or starting over.
A Long Way Forward
Now compare that to where we are:
Fully designed, print-ready card system
Organized decks by type, rarity, and function
The Book of Holding tying everything together
A Custom Card Creator that replaces all manual work entirely
And—most importantly—
No more making anything by hand.
That part matters more than anything else.
Because the only reason this isn’t still a pile of index cards is because of the Guild.
The interest, the feedback, the early support! It’s what pushed this from a personal tool into something real.
More updates soon! Can't wait for the launch on April 21st!
Best,
Michael and Chris

MuleBrew Custom Card Creator Ordering System Is Now Built
The MuleBrew Custom Card Creator now has a completed ordering frontend and an initial U.S. manufacturer.
Tiered pricing is live, scaling from small runs to high-volume sheet pricing (~$0.72/card at 181+). Orders are priced per physical printed card, and users can remove individual pages before printing to control cost.
All mundane weapon and armor templates are now included in every collection, with Core Set SRD template packs coming soon.
Backend live ordering begins small-batch testing this week, starting with Rank: Diamond members.
